"The Warrior Within" by Lance Pekus and Jesse Haynes to release October 28th, tour to follow
Tulsa, OK – CastleBuilders Press, an Oklahoma-based independent publishing company, recently announced that the upcoming release of The Warrior Within, the first book in the N.I.N.J.A. Games series co-written by Lance Pekus and Jesse Haynes, will be released on October 28th. The Warrior Within tells the story of Greyson McEntire, whose summer gets turned upside-down when he and his best friend Colter are invited to train with an organization made up of elite athletes from around the world and are subsequently thrust into a battle for world domination.
Pekus, also known as the "Cowboy Ninja" from the NBC reality competition show American Ninja Warrior, said, “I couldn’t be more excited to release this book. Writing a novel has always been a dream of mine and working with the team at CastleBuilders has helped make that dream come true. This story is not only fun to read, but it also carries an important message: we all are special and have a little ‘ninja’ inside of us.”
Also announced was the first stop in a planned book tour. Both Pekus and Haynes will be appearing at the Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge on October 29th, with other appearances in and around the Midwest to be announced at a later date.
"The Louisiana Book Festival has been amazing to us and will be a great place to launch the book,” Pekus continued. "From a few days of school visits leading up to the festival itself on Saturday, I’ve already been blown away by how accommodating and excited everybody is to help me share this story. I can’t wait to tell many more!”
